The Department of Nursing offers a unique learning experience that emphasizes caring and Franciscan Values. The learning environment provides resources, including the Nursing Resource Center and School of Health Sciences Simulation Lab which enhance the achievement of nursing competencies.

We offer several nursing programs including ASN, LPN to ASN, RN to BSN, four year BSN, RN to MSN,  BSN to MSN, BSN to DNP CRNA, and Post MSN to DNP. Each of the nursing programs is fully accredited by national nursing organization (with the exception of the BSN to DNP CRNA and Post MSN to DNP).

The CRNA program is undergoing a required accreditation process, and students will not be admitted or enrolled in the program until an approval by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs has been rendered. The council’s decision is expected in Spring 2017.
