Time to Completion

USF’s BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program is a three year (36 month) program. Students must complete their coursework in continuous, full time enrollment.

The demanding program schedule assumes a time commitment of about 64 hours per week. As such, the program strongly discourages students from participating in outside employment while enrolled in the program.

Sample Curriculum Sequence

USF’s BSN-DNP Nurse Anesthesia Program is designed to be completed in nine semesters over three years (36 months) for a total of 96 credit hours. The curriculum is designed to facilitate the eligibility of the graduate to take the National Certification Examination (NCE) and follows the doctoral standards of the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA).
